A great find in JP, Tim was a total lifesaver - incredibly kind, communicative and fast with his help! Brought in my computer for a screen and hinge repair. Tim was open about not knowing exactly how to fix it, but within minutes had consulted a few videos and offered to order the parts needed. After he did, the repair was completed within a few hours. Really appreciated his ability to find the information he needed and give a fair quote quickly. While you wait, he has an awesome collection of vintage computers! Highly recommend supporting this local-owned shop.

Such a cool thing to stumble across - a small storefront museum of vintage home computers, games and gadgets from the 70s-2000s. The owner is super nice and even showed me how to make an old-school office party banner which he printed for free on a vintage printer! If you have any interest in or nostalgia for old computers you need to stop by.

Simply a gem. Tim is knowledgeable as can possibly be and I don’t think people fully understand how COOL it is that he has the computer history museum going on (and everything is working, per his own refurbishing work!!!). Very impressed.

Yes!!! The coolest little repair shop, with an awesome vintage computing museum on display. They recycle electronics for free, and rent vintage equipment for movie/ theater props. Super friendly owner, Tim. I don’t have anything in need of repair at the moment, but next time I do, I’ll come here. So glad we walked by and stopped in!

I carried my Chromebook into the Byte Shop desperate for help; a scammer had kidnapped my screen and set an ear-splitting siren going. Tim calmly shrank the full blown screen of threats and misinformation so that I could click it off. No charge — just my relief and gratitude. Janell
