I brought my laptop here for a screen replacement. My first issue is that they quoted me $120, then ended up charging me $182 at pickup. Second issue is that the repair job is CRAP. The right side of my screen was returned to me held together by electrical tape, and they also screwed through the surface of my keyboard. My third issue is that I was told it would be ready on a Monday morning, and when I went to the shop at opening (9AM), no one was there. I called and was told someone would be there by 10AM, so I show up again then, and still no one there. I call again and was told 10:30AM. Then they call me a few minutes later and say they laptop actually isn't ready yet. I didn't get it back until Wednesday, 2 days later. Very displeased with this shop, I regret paying them anything but I just needed my laptop back already for schoolwork. DON'T go to nerds.

As a 79-year-old author, losing her eyesight and with limited computer skills, I retained Rory Dunnaback for his deeply needed assistance concerning various matters of which he was aggregable. Mr. Dunnaback and a partner hold the franchise at two local Nerds to Go stores. Initially, his work proved exceptional. A bout of pneumonia caused me to cancel our scheduled appointment. Once recovered, and over a six-week span, I tried reaching him to resume our meetings. I left numerous messages at both stores and on his personal phone. Sadly, Mr. Dunnaback failed to respond. In July I intended to launch a contest, each winner receiving three of my books. On my website, Roy Dunnaback posted enough information to interest readers, but not the requirements necessary to play the game. July came and went and possibly my credibility, too. He left me and any want-to -be contestants in the lurch. In order to draw readers to my contest, earlier I created a narrative for him to video and place on TikTok – just one other endeavor Mr. Dunnaback left dangling. Lastly, he had consented to an extremely important computer task, dealing with my self-publishing business, yet he didn’t start or finish the project. I’m upset, hurt, and confused by his silent, unprofessional behavior of turning his back on me.

Highly recommend! I brought in a computer I was building that wouldn't start up and they quickly diagnosed the problem and once my replacement parts came in, they fixed it promptly. My experience here was wonderful. Both technicians I interacted with were incredibly polite and helpful. They communicate constantly with updates and worked very quick and efficiently on my computer. Furthermore, they offered useful information to improve my PC. Lastly, they went above and beyond by not only fixing the issue but tidying up my cables. In short, this place offers efficient, professional work by knowledgable and kind people.

Dropped my laptop one evening and it wouldn't shut down. Took it to Rory at Nerds to Go. He backed it up for me and made sure it was working properly. Minimal charge for assurance that it was AOK. Great folks, great service, super communication. Thanks Nerds to Go - working on my iPhone is less than optimal and you saved the day.

Had to have my hard drive replaced and I went here to have it done. They charged me 2 times what the part was worth and then it failed within 6 months of it being in my laptop. I opened it myself and the hard drive they had put in there wasn't even the hard drive I paid for. It was a hard drive that was years older than the one they had me paid for and I had to pay for a whole new hard drive myself. They love to nickel and dime you for anything and everything they can charge you for, find any other place to go besides here. Not worth the price and the work is shotty at best.
